About the event

Good communication is key to our success in every realm of life. However, communication is full of pitfalls and can be the most dangerous thing we do. It can potentially lead to ruptures in our relationships that affect our personal happiness and career success.

Communication is difficult and getting harder. We need tools, training, and practice to do it well and consistently. We have created an amazing communication tool kit for you that will improve your relational outcomes.

The quality of our communication determines the quality of our lives. It’s not just about what we say but how we say it and how others feel during the conversation. The interpersonal space between people or groups significantly influences effective communication. Mastering how to tend to this space is a powerful tool for effective communication.

To lead and influence others well, we must be self-aware, self-regulate, connect with others, and harmonize conversation triggers. Research shows that 86% of communication is not about what we say but how we say it. Our body language, tone, micro-facial expressions, and internal states affect our impact, even though we often cannot see or hear ourselves accurately.

Unconscious speaking and listening patterns can limit our effectiveness. We might talk too long without pauses or react with intense or deflated emotion, which can harm relationships. In personal relationships, poor communication can lead to disconnection and anxiety. It can result in employee conflict and HR issues at work, impacting partnership, growth, innovation, and collaboration. Great communicators are often promoted more frequently, and poor communication is a leading cause of employee turnover, regardless of IQ.

In this intensive workshop, you will:

  • Understand how the human brain decodes language and avoid common pitfalls.
  • Leverage 6 tips of effective communication based on brain wiring.
  • Learn and practice the 4 Pillars of Effective Communication in personal relationships.
  • Improve both conscious- speaking and whole-hearted listening.
  • Practice sharing gratitude and making repairs when mistakes occur.

This workshop is an intensive, 4-hour training.
