David is currently a continuing education provider for the National Acupuncture Association, California Acupuncture Association, as well as The Florida and Texas Medical Boards. He and his wife Tanya, through their company Qigong Awareness LLC, provide continuing education as well as Qigong Instructor Certification for Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists and lay people. David teaches workshops around the country and beyond through both online and in person training.

David has a background in Western Psychology. Molecular - Cellular Biology, Eastern Philosophy and Meditation. David is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Karate as well as a practitioner of various other martial arts including Jeet Kune Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Considered an expert in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong, David is the author of Qigong for Beginners: Your Path to Greater Health and Vitality. (Qigong is an ancient form of exercise from China that emphasizes conscious breathing, movement and stillness meditation practices.)

David is a former supervisor and team leader of Charter Centennial Peaks Psych Hospital in Louisville, Colorado. David created treatment programs at the hospital for adults and adolescents and provided both group and one on one counseling sessions. David was in charge of the adolescent unit managing approximately 40 children and young adults as well as a staff that included various mental health workers, social workers and nursing assistants. David was also an instructor at the hospital teaching the staff to more safely and effectively de-escalate and manage aggressive behavior.
